Day One: Geneva
Geneva is a most beautiful town/city in the very center of Europe and is situated on the shores of the biggest lake in European continent, at the foot of the Jura Mountains and the Alps. The city is indeed an international capital. It’s a place of rich cultural life, large-scale congresses and exhibitions, prestigious cuisine and numerous excellent facilities for tourists. The city is inhabited by representatives of 157 nationalities and hosts about 200 international organizations. Among them are United Nations Organization, International Committee of the Red Cross and many others.
Our city sightseeing tour begins from visiting the English garden and the flower clock. Then we continue our way over the Mont Blank bridge to a small island of J. J. Rousseau which is situated on the left bank of Rhone. The bridge has a wonderful view down the Geneva fountain – Jet d’Eau.
We we’ll walk to the Molard Square and to the Rhone Street to make a shopping-tour in superb and cosy boutiques in this part of the city. Following our excursion, we then appear in an old city of Geneva: we visit St. Peters Cathedral, will have the opportunity to rise up to the tower which opens an excellent view of panoramic Geneva.
Rising up the hill to the old town and seeing the building named “Tavel House”, the City Municipality and the Bourg-de-Four Square. We we’ll make our way back through the shady park of Bastions and passing “The reformers wall” monument to the New Square. Time for lunch break.
The final point of our excursion is the visit to the Museum of Red Cross and the quarters of International organizations. |

Day Two: Lausanne – Vevey - Montreux
Lausanne is the capital for the canton of Vaud and is situated on the south shore of Geneva Lake, the pearl of the Swiss Riviera. After Geneva this is the second town in being a cultural and economical center of French-speaking Switzerland. Here is the place for most excellent beauty spots: a place where mounts meld into the lake and the evergreen palms gladden the eye all year round.
A bus sightseeing tour round the city center with a visit of the Notre Dam Church and then to Saint François Square and a visit to the museum of International Olympic Committee, passing by a most beautiful Ouchy embankment on the way. A break for dinner.
Our tour continues along a picturesque track enlacing Geneva Lake up to the town of Vevey where we visit the museum of Charlie Chaplin.
The tour will be finished by a visit of the town of Montreux. Here we discover the famous Chillion Fortress where Lord Byron immortalized Geneva Lake in his celebrated poem 'The Chillion Prisoner'. This is a guest town for the international jazz festival with participation of most popular performers from all over the world. |

Day Three: Gruyere – Fribourg - Bern - Interlaken
Gruyere is a medieval village and is situated on а hill top, at the bottom of the ancient fortress of the XI century. We will visit it at the beginning of our excursion. From here we will admire the splendid view of Mount Moléson (2002m.) which is fitted out with most modern alpine skiing tracks and a bobsleigh track. There is also possibility to visit one of the oldest cheese making plants and to make first-hand tasting of the world famous Gruyere cheese. Then we move ahead to the town of Fribourg passing through Bulle – the capital of Gruyere region.
Fribourg is a medieval town which celebrated its 850-th anniversary in the current year. It is situated on territories neighbouring Sarine river which draws the “language borderline” of Switzerland: on the right bank of the river there are the German speakers and on the left are the French-speakers. Among places of interests of this town we visit are going to visit:
- St. Nicolaus Cathedral in Neo-Gothic
- Numerous beautiful fountains in the old part of Fribourg
- Bern wooden bridge dating back to XIII century
A dinner in Fribourg.
Bern is the capital of one of the biggest cantons, as well as of the entire Swiss Confederation. It is situated in the central part of the country. The city was founded in 1191 by duke Berthold of Zähringen. Its old town is designated by UNESCO as World Heritage Site.
We begin the city tour of Bern from visiting the Rose Garden, from where one can observe the magnificent view of the whole old town of Bern. Then we go down to the Bear Pit– an open-air cage with live bears, and continue way immediately to the old town with ancient fountains. The trip continues in Einstein’s museum, then we walk to the Clock tower – Zeitglockenturm and to the fountain “Kids Eater”. We finish the day by a small sightseeing tour on a bus through the city’s railway station area towards the Parliament House. In the evening, we’ll set out for Interlaken. |

Day Four: Interlaken - Jungfrau
Interlaken is the tourist capital of Berner Oberland, one of the most beautiful regions in Switzerland, located between the lakes Thun and Brienz. Interlaken offers everything for activity holidays in mountains. It is the oldest resort of the country famous for its brilliant scenic view of mountain massif Jungfrau.

- A casino
- Numerous jeweller’s and souvenir shops
- A cruise around the lake on a steamboat
2. Those wishing to climb to the top of Jungfrau are welcome to an excursion on a train to this mountain peak called "Top of Europe”. |

Day Five: Andermatt – Lucerne - Zurich
Trip to Lucerne – the pearl of Swiss tourism. The town is often called the “heart of the country”: it is situated on the charming Lake of four cantons from one side and on mount Pilatus on the other. The Symbol of Lucerne is the Kappelbrucke with a chapel, the oldest wooden bridge in Switzerland. We will have a walk along the lakeside and pass by the House of Arts and the House of Congress, and then direct our steps to the old bridge of Kappelenbrucke, will and visit the Jesuits cathedral. Then we we’ll have a nice walk around the town and will enjoy the ancient architecture of the town. Later on, we’ll move towards the memorial of the dying lion and to the Glacier Garden. If still time, a visit to the transport museum in the town is possible.
If tourists wish, it’s also possible to make a trip to Andermatt and an excursion to the Devil/Ferris/ Bridge - the symbol of the historical passage of Suvorov’s army over the Alps.

Day Six: Reinfall - Zurich
In the morning we leave Zurich for Reinfall, the famous waterfall on Rhine and the biggest in Europe.
Then we are back to Zurich – one of the biggest tourism centres accepting up to a million guests every year. This is also a city that takes the world lead for quality and standard of life, and is one of the world biggest financial centers as well.
We start the city sightseeing from visiting the embankment alongside Limmat river and the Great Cathedral. This will be followed by a visit to the woman Convent and St. Peter's Church which has the biggest clock dial in the world. A walk through the old town to the biggest financial artery of the country – Bahnhofstrasse, considered to be one of the most beautiful streets in Europe. Here world scale trade centers “Globus” and “Yaylemoli” as well as the headquarters of the biggest Swiss banks are situated. In the evening we organize a 3-minute express elevation on a cable railway to the top of the hill named Politerrasse. We have the marvellous panorama down the nocturnal Zurich at our feet. We'll spend this night in Zurich. |

Day Seven: Zurich - Kloten
